The Look:

James Bond, the iconic character, who has been a symbol of sophistication and class. A smooth and seductive secret agent, that has captured the imagination of generations of men to be like Bond, James Bond. Created in 1953, by writer Ian Fleming, his character has lived long past his death in 1964. Today, Bond is as relevant as ever and still inspiring new generations of men with style and substance.

In 1962, the first feature film about the British MI6 secret agent, was depicted by Sean Connery in the movie Dr. No. Producers Broccoli and Salesman originally hoped for Cary Grant to accept the role, however, Grant would only commit to one movie. The duo decided to go with someone that could be part of a series. After looking at various options, the producers decided to go with the 30 year old actor from Scotland, Sean Connery.

Over the decades of films that followed, the role was depicted by the likes of George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan, and the latest bond, Daniel Craig. Each bringing their own interpretation of 007. Yet, still showcasing Bonds cool, calm and collected effortless style and grace. Each new actor shaking but not stirring the core traits of the character.

Sean Connery (1962 -67, 71)

George Lazenby (1969)

Roger Moore (1973-85)

Timothy Dalton (1987-89)

Pierce Brosnan (1995-2002)

Daniel Craig (Since 2006)

James Bond is forever linked to the musical score composed by Monty Norman and first orchestrated by the John Barry Orchestra in 1962's Dr. No. The "James Bond Theme" is recognized and featured in every Bond movie production.

In 2006, with the production of Casino Royale, the 21st Bond film, was the first featuring Daniel Craig as 007. The casting of Daniel Craig was subject for debate as he didn't fit Ian Fleming's original portrait of tall, dark and suave. Craig's portrayal of the character was edgier, ironic, brutal and cold. The first bond to not "give a damn" as to wether his martini is shaken or stirred. The performance by Daniel Craig brought praise and credibility.

James Bond will continues live with different portrayals but still the same sense of style, the watches, the cars, the suits, girls and a license to kill.
