Alessandro Michele presented his Spring Summer 2020 collection and it was his sexiest ever. Both women's and men's clothing were on display. The show began with straitjackets. A moment of controversy as some interpreted the use of straitjackets as insensitive. Gucci mades a statement expressing the meaning to be directed toward self-expression and not to be sold in stores. In the statement Gucci stated that creative director Alessandro Michele designed “blank-styled” clothes to make a point about fashion and self-expression. The clothes were included “as the most extreme version of a uniform dictated by society and those who control it.” Check out the show below.
