PHILLIPS' AUCTION HOUSE SELLS MAD DOG JONES NFT FOR $4.1 million dollarS

Phillips' has officially entered the NFT market with the sale of Mad Dog Jones' "Replicator." Two weeks of bidding for the NFT artwork netted a $4.1 million dollar sale, a record for the Canadian digital artist. 

The bidding began at $100 dollars and quickly started gaining traction. The interesting element to this NFT is that it has the ability to create a new NFT every 28 days. In only 24 hours the bidding went to $2.4 million dollars. With only five minutes left in the bidding the action picked up with the final price of $4,144,000 dollars.
